Established in Northern California in 1993, Douglas Kent & Associates specializes in environmental horticulture/landscaping. It is a design, consult, construct, and educational firm serving private and public organizations and individuals throughout California.

About DOUGLAS KENT
Kent has been a passionate gardener for the last 30 years. He has designed public demonstration gardens, landscapes across California, and has worked as a spokesperson on a number of public education campaigns. Kent has written four gardening/landscaping books and over fifty articles.

EDUCATION

  • 2006: Master of Sciences in Regenerative Studies from the Lyle Center, Cal Poly Pomona.
  • 1991: B.A. in Environmental Policy, Cal State Long Beach.
  • 1985-1986: Studied Ornamental Horticulture at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.
