Doyle: 3051 Hayes, Costa Mesa, CA: A nearly zero-runoff landscape designed to delight the homeowner. The garden is planted with a delectable mix of edible, native, and ornamental plants. The property captures and infiltrates approximately 20,000 gallons of rainwater a year.
